About Me

When I was young, I am a typical boy who seeks for fun and enjoyment. The first electronic game played was Mario, and later on to Counter-Strike. I have a bizarre way of holding my pen ever since I started writing; many people (even my mum) said that I will struggle in terms of education if I go on like this. But in the end, I still did get decent grades in school.

Being exposed to games (especially with guns) it hooked me on to drawing, I love guns so much till the point that almost all of the games that I play nowadays consist of guns. Self-discovery occurred when I draw even more, it is something I take joy in ever since I was a boy, to design something cool through paper and pencil.

As I was in secondary education, I didn't take any arts related subject, because their "art" isn't the art I was looking for. There's no design or knowledge put in the artwork (from my perspective). It's like an artwork that is a blank piece of paper that can be sold for thousands. So whenever I am free, I would trace pictures that I find it nice. At that point of time I didn't realize tracing isn't drawing, but it still helped me with my drawing skills I guess.

After O levels, I didn't have any idea where to head on for my educational path. But as I look through the many courses that I am eligible to go to, I personally had the most interest on Games Design. Thinking through the times when I had many different designs of guns, how I wish certain games could change their game ideas to be a better game, etc...  I was supposed to be heading to Republic Polytechnic for Games Design, but luckily I heard that Nanyang Polytechnic is stronger towards the Media industry. I went too appealed to the same course in NYP and here I am, learning many ways of constructing a game world. Be it 2D or 3D, I have learn abundantly through the lecturers and the modules given to our needs to be a game designer.
